looking back on 2011.
2011 started off terrible.
new years eve was spent at my then-boyfriends house, a lot of drama ensued, it was heartbreaking.
my parents had gone away to mexico, my grandparents were staying at our house, i was deep in the clutches of anorexia.
a family secret got out, which tore things apart pretty badly, resulting in months of unhappiness for everyone.
i felt out of control, starved my way...

i came home from work today
my dog came running over to me
my mom said he’d been waiting for me since 4, looking out the window an whining.
I gave him a hug and cuddled with him and said “hi bobble!”
mom looked at me and said
he saved you didn’t he?
I didn’t answer, but
he really did
it might seem dumb because he’s just a dog
but he honestly gives me...
